Idris Adeleke Shittu had over three decades of work experience in financial services institutions, cutting across Financial Risk Management, Internal Audit & Control, Regulatory Compliance, Assets and Liabilities Management, Basel II/III Capital Management, as well as General Management and Governance.
He is a certified Risk Analyst and Fellow of the Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM). He is also a certified Information Systems Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and an alumnus of the renowned Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania in the United States.
Idris had his first degree in Mathematics/Statistics and an MBA with a specialization in Finance.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria (MCIoD), a Senior Associate of the Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria (CRMIN) and an Honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria (HCIBN).
He is a Non-Executive Director in several financial institutions and currently the Chairman of the Board of FBNQuest Trustees Limited (a subsidiary of FBNHoldings Plc)
He is also the Founder and Chief Consultant of FronCap Consulting Company, and the Chairman of Frontline Capital Limited, both companies are reputed for financial and business advisory services in the MSMEs space, while also providing risk expert opinion, financial risk management and regulatory compliance trainings for banks and other financial institutions.
He is happily married with children and, at his leisure, likes travelling and reading.
