Oladimeji Idowu is an accomplished risk management professional with over sixteen years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Proficiency Certificate in Management. He is a professional member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and a Senior Associate of the Enterprise Risk Management Professionals of Nigeria.
Oladimeji began his career in IT consulting, where he provided specialized support to microfinance banks (MFBs). He successfully led the migration and implementation of over forty MFBs across Nigeria onto the BankOne core banking application platform, enhancing operational efficiency and regulatory compliance for each institution.
He served as the pioneer Branch Manager of DavoDani Microfinance Bank, Egbeda Branch, and later took on strategic roles as Head of Internal Control and Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Personal Trust Microfinance Bank.
Since joining Opticom Finance Limited in 2019 as Head of Risk Management, Oladimeji has played a pivotal role in strengthening the institution’s risk framework and operational structure. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer / Head of Finance and Administration, where he continues to drive process improvement, financial stewardship, and strategic execution for the organization.
